After a successful run at Edinburgh Fringe 2011, the intriguing ‘Me, Myself and Miss Gibbs’ is touring with Arts Alive.  This one woman show all started with a second hand postcard bought in 2003 for 50p! A postcard of Lincoln cathedral sent in 1910 to a Miss I. Gibbs bearing the message:  “Be careful tomorrow. A.C.” sparked a journey that now is now revealed in a hall near you.

Francesca Millican Slater investigates the cryptic message sent 100 years  ago and an intricate story unfolds; part detective noir, part lecture and part biography, what happens when she starts tracing a history that isn’t her own? And why did Miss Gibbs have to be careful tomorrow?  ‘Me Myself and Miss Gibbs’ is a gentle reminder to us all - how would we like to be remembered?

This show is an intimate crafted performance full of human warmth for anyone who likes a good story, or anyone interested in exploring the human stories behind historic source material.
