Colin Marschall has announced on his (LESS) Facebook page that he will not be standing for election [to Ledbury Council] as he had previously intended.

Mr Marschall states that he is withdrawing from all groups and will not stand for election as he is in the process of buying a Hereford business.

Mr Marschall found himself in the unenvious position of being the first Ledbury Portal registered user to get banned from the Ledbury Portal for posting abusive remarks about other Portal users.

Mr Marschall had posted the abuse during his attempt to help the corporate grocers Sainsbury's gain a controversial planning application on the edge of Ledbury.

The application subsequently failed.
