Busy Bees @ LPS are holding an Open Day on Saturday 9th July 2011 from 10am - 12noon
Busy Bees @ LPS is a parent committee run pre-school based on the site of Ledbury Primary School. They have recently moved to new purpose built premises with a fantastic 'Forest School' outdoor space. Sessions run from 9am-12pm and 12pm-3pm Monday to Friday, term time only. Busy Bees is Ofsted registered and cater for children aged 2-5.
The curriculum is play based and children are always encouraged to have their own input in the activities on offer. Through a curriculum rich in opportunities and experiences, children learn valuable skills and knowledge. Even the youngest children learn social skills as well as developing their language, imagination and curiosity. Research has shown that children from the age of 2 that attend preschool for one to two sessions a week have improved cognitive skills, behaviour and social skills upon school entry.
The garden has a tee pee, digging pit, mini beast house and lots of log stepping stones and balance beams. Children explore the natural area around them, learning about their environment in a safe and enclosed setting. The Manager, Kassie Eldon and Supervisor, Emma Davis are currently undertaking their Forest School Leaders (Level 3) training and will be teaching Forest School sessions from September.
Come along to our open day and meet the staff and Directors of Busy Bees. If you are unable to attend but would like more information, please call us on 01531 248087 or visit our website: busybeespreschool-lps.co.uk
