Merlin's beard! What's going on at the old Woollies? Scaffolds are up, the lights are on and everyone wants to know, or everyone thinks they know, who is moving in.
Will it be some kind of cooperative market with a variety of local traders similar to Hereford's Buttermarket? Will it be Allworths the Woolworths impersonator? Surely not another mini supermarket like its Tesco neighbour? Or will it be an outlet for cheap plastic products from China, probably made in sweatshops, probably with built-in self destruct mechanisms (go and buy another one) and generally trying to compete with every other shop in Ledbury?
Let's wait and see how far we've come as a Fairtrade town with a future of green and local sustainability. The proof will be in the pudding.

Anyways, we'll see what it's worth. At the end of the day it just might be Notworth It at all.
Where's my pudding?
